(CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA)- – This evening, the Savannah Bananas announced Banana Ball, the “most entertaining game of baseball,” is coming to Charlotte as part of their 2025 World Tour. The Bananas will be taking on the Party Animals with festivities expected to start the day before the game on June 6 th.

“We are thrilled the Savannah Bananas selected Charlotte as one of their locations this year! We’re going to witness a once-in-a-lifetime show, and we can’t wait for the Bananas and their fans to experience the Queen City,” said Danny Morrison, executive director of CSF. “Events like these don’t happen without harmony and we appreciate Tepper Sport & Entertainment’s partnership, as well as the support of the CRVA.”

“We are beyond excited to bring Banana Ball to Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC. We've had tremendous support from all of North Carolina, but this is our first time in Charlotte so we know the Queen City is going to be rocking! We feel this is the perfect stadium as we expand into football stadiums, with every seat being on top of the action. It's going to be loud and we can't wait to put on a show!” said Jesse Cole, owner of the Savannah Bananas.

Details on Bank of America Stadium’s transformation into a baseball stadium will be shared closer to the event date.

“Together with the Charlotte Sports Foundation, we are dedicated to bringing top-tier entertainment to the Carolinas by hosting a dynamic range of events that offer fresh and exciting experiences,” said Caroline Wright, chief venues officer of TSE. “Our team is ready to transform Bank of America Stadium into a baseball field for the first time in its history so we can give the Savannah Bananas and their fans a warm Carolinas-style welcome.”

In 2024 the Bananas visited six Major League Baseball venues and consistently sell out their games in under 24 hours, with fans from around the world attending their games.

“We are excited to welcome the Savannah Bananas to Charlotte. Their fan-first entertainment not only captivates audiences but also brings significant economic benefits to our community. Time and again, the Bananas have proven that their unique mix of family-friendly fun and high-energy performances leads to sold-out venues and a surge in local spending. We look forward to the to the meaningful boost this partnership will bring to our local economy and the joy it will bring to families in our region,” said Steve Bagwell, Chief Executive Officer, Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA).
